As my title suggests, the movie Neerja portraying Sonam kapoor as the lead actress, comes out with her best performance ever.The very speciality of the movie lies in her performance and a lot more stuffs that I m going to elaborate.
The next big thing which I liked about the movie is that it’s a biopic movie which separates it from the general mainstream movies.Mostly, bollywood movie are based on scripted action, thriller, suspense or a love story, or the combination.But, this movie is gonna give a quite different taste and permits to view the reality(a tragedic incident of 1986) in a well crafted way(hats off to the work of director).
I am not much satisfied with the casting of the movie.Although I completely love the performance of Sonam kapoor(as Neerja Bhanot) and Shabana Azmi(as Rama Bhanot), yet I am not much satisfied with performances of Shekhar Ravjiani and Yogendra Tiku.I think Bollywood has got much better options.Moreover, with great performances of few, as said, exectation grows.
Coming to music and background score, as it’s a biopic movie these stuffs are not expected to be great, and thus I can ignore.However, they were good, I mean above average.
The remnants, including storyline, direction, screenplay, effects(audio and visual), simply the attempt to depict the reality in a classical way, was awesome.I was totally moved.I never felt as if it was all being implemented.I felt reality as a result of their great efforts.In these regards, the movie is completely flawless.
