Hi,
i had not knew before today that there was a space to post the review according to country also..
so as I got it, I hurried myself to add another review on my profile about my birth country "nepal"
Nepal, a well known country in world for its cultural heritage, distinct history, highest peak mount Everest, Gautam Buddha birth place and also known for the recent violence and the political instability, this country is already ready to invite guest in its country for the tourist development on the coming year 2011......
the fact that still many and many tourists go towards this country to enjoy the cultural heritage and the natural beauties proves that it is one of the romantic moment that one can get....
people might question about the current issue of nepal and I also dont mean that Nepal has not been badly suffered by the political condition that recently they have faced... from the days of unification of nepal by shah’s dynasty, which might had saved nepal from captured of British government, but after that many people had to sacrifie their life to be categorized in the "unrecognized martyrs" for the sake of country and mother land..
yeah some of the part of shah’s dynasty (former kings) were praisable. but along the time, they were not adapted to time, especially former king Gyanendra was a autocratic ruler who did everything to get a power in his hand... having a king was not a problem at all, but the expense of huge amount of total budget (and expense was increasing day by day) was a huge burden and change was needed...
but I dont support the techniques and way of former terrorist + former prime minister prachanda had adapted to change the phase of the country... destruction of natural heritage, physical infrastructure and announcment of infinite country strike was one of the worst activities that a human can ever do... they still follow the techniques of announce of strike in education and transportation for the protest... but still they got the highest number of seats on parliament despite majority of people hate maoists.
GOd knows how could it happen......
since last four months, it is with the new government and lots of planning....
i wish they go with the good plan and good policies......
they have invited people as tourist from whole world for the Festival "visit nepal 2011" on year 2011.. I will post different review about different cities on coming days on MS...
but, if u planning to go for nepal on any day on your visit, I want to suggest you that atleast do not visit nepal for 2009....
i dont mean to say that there is any danger in the country for tourist.. but, because of transport strike frequently taking place organized by maoists, so transport problem may make you bore of your visit.... so even if you visit nepal this year, there will be no problem this year too expect transport problem..
one of the main thing is that if you are indian citizen, so you dont need any vissa to visit nepal.. as india and nepal are open boarder to each other, so if you going to nepal by airway, u need nothing more than the indian proof to show that you are indian.....
so... if you are planning to go nepal on 2010 or 2011, its ok...
it will be really happiness and moment of joy when u spend your days over there...
its mountain, lakes, river and many more natural beauties will attract your heart...... and you will get nepal and its people as really friendly.....
so best of luck and arrange your time.....
remember, it will be the one of the cheapest and you can go for religious visit also.....
