Nepal, a well known country in world for its cultural heritage, distinct history, highest peak mount Everest, Gautam Buddha birth place and also known for the recent violence and the political instability, this country is already ready to invite guest in its country for the tourist development on the coming year 2011.
There are small jets(20 -30 seaters) that connect the various airports and flights are available regularly. The flight tickets are not very expensive(1500 INR for bhairwa(border near me) to Katmandu which is 400 km but takes 10 hrs by car). They seem to be safe enough.(I was scared the first time I sat in one of those).
These days Maoists(a Militant Organization) are wrecking havoc on our beautiful neighbor. So this is not a very good time to travel there. Otherwise I have been there in almost all the seasons and loved being there. Each season has its own charm.
