When we reached at Bapatpur airport, a car with driver was waiting for us. We drove to Hotel.
From our hotel we have a beautiful View of the temples and ghats(places near the river where one can take bath, normally steps lead down to the river) of Varanasi, situated on the banks of the sacred river Ganga(also called Ganges). t is one of the most holy and sacred places for the Hindus.
Varanasi has several Hindu temples-the most famous is the Kashi Vishwanath temple.
Following Annapurni temple, visalakshi temple, Kalabhairawanath temple, and Dandapani temple. There are lot of pilgrims and persons come here to pray. One can see people clanging the bells of the temple and prostrating themselves before the images of ’’God’’.
Among the later attractions of Varanasi is the comparatively new Ram Charit Manas mandir, which has shlokas and pictures all around depicting the Ramayana. It was amazing look at.
The other famous spot in Varanasi is the ’’Manikarnika Ghat’’ on the banks of the sacred river Ganga. This place has the ghats where we took religious bath and it is customary to drop the ashes of the dead along with flowers etc. in to the river Ganga. The side of the ghats has the platforms which are used for cremating the dead. Varanasi is considered a good auspicious place for doing it for getting ’’punya’’ and for the peace of the departed souls.
During the tour we had very good pure vegetarian and very neat and clean room and most of all peace of mind without any stress without any tension. Everything was well planned
