Tour Booking Management - Good
Communication during tour - Very Poor. No proper daily briefing.
No Tamil speaking guide as they committed in their tour brochure.
Probably they are referring to tour manager who never communicates any thing. Communication is by the bus operator in Hindhi in authoritative tone as an instructor inform to school children.
Accommodation - Chitwan-Good, Kathmandu and Jamson acceptable. Rest are lodges. They committed only non AC but when discussed for possibility of AC rooms, they informed that the Manager/Guide will help us and we can pay extra. No. they never supported and asked us directly to discuss with the hotels.
In some hotels/lodges, there are no AC rooms.
Food - Not satisfactory. You will come to know the various varieties of Upma(Kichadi) with single variety of chutney. Substandard rice which we normally do not prefer at home. You can aptly call them Upma Travels.
Bus and Travel - Good
Consideration for senior citizens - No. At Janakpur, the hotel was not reachable by our bus. They stopped some one to two kilometers away. Tour operators and cook gone by vehicle and the customers left for their choice. At least they cant even support for arranging rickshaws. The same thing repeated during check out too. Funny is that they don.t even communicate to you that you have to come to bus stand on your own.
No air port drop back at Gorakhpur after the tour completed. Just dropped us in the Hotel and started leaving without any information. When enquired they say we have to make our own arrangement. This is something we did not come across when we book a package tour. That too senior citizens of other states are just left like that.
Tour planning - Good
Conclusion: The purpose of choosing a package from south Indian traditional operator is Care for senior citizens and good South Indian food. Both are not good.
