Nestle, a Swiss multinational, produce Kit Kat, which was first made by Rowntrees of York, a British chocolate manufacturer who were bought out by the Swiss giant.
Kit Kat are enormously popular in Britain where they are the best selling chocolate bar. They are very well marketed and generations of children have got used to the marketing slogan...... Have a Break, Have a Kit Kat...
Kit Kat are not only sold in the UK but in many European countries, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Australia, New Zealand and, of course, India as well.
Basically Kit Kat come in a four finger configuration and are essentially biscuits coated with a generous amount of yummy milk chocolate. Tasty, yes they most certainly are. They do make for a good energy boosting snack and although they contain milk and butter, they are said to be suitable for vegetarians but not vegans.
You should not have too much difficulty finding them in supermarkets, grocer shops, at petrol stations with shopping facilities and other places.
The final verdict ? Nestle Kit Kat are a relatively inexpensive chocolate bar which is very popular and they do make a refreshing snack.
