The taste is, in my opinion, superior to that other well-known brand of mint with a hole in the center. This is due to a more mellow mint flavour(don’t get me wrong, you will still feel that minty flavour go down into your lungs and up into your nasal pasages if you crunch them like I often do) and one that does not have an artificial or chemical-type taste to it. The packaging is great; the mints are rolled up in an inner film of plastic wrap surrounded by an outer aluminum foil wrap-if not waterproof it has to be water-resitant. At the very least the packaging must preserve the porduct’s freshness. I do recommend it to others.
