I placed an order for hosting my domain couple of weeks back. and it is still not complete. Typically most hosting providers have the site up and running within 48-72 hrs.
I have called pillar to post within Net 4 India from sales, customer support to even a crappy guy from accounting and no one seems to know why the order is still not complete. I know that I have a legal recourse available - but the cost of it is not worth it for Rs 5000 odd I paid for hosting. I think only in India probably one can easily get away with collecting money for the service and not delivering the service. It doesn’t surprise that the MD of the company is facing two criminal charges in Maharashtra. I can only wish service deficiency were a criminal offense.
I hope that Net 4 India disappears out of the business for the nonsense they are doing and MD of this company goes to jail for conning the customers
