I never had any problems with my scalp until I was about 17 years old. At first, I thought it was because the weather had just changed from being humid to dry. But, it did not go away when I shampooed more to try to fix the problem.
After that, I told my mom and she bought me Neutrogena T/Gel Shampoo. It didn’t work very well for me. I only saw slight results if I used it a few days in a row. Plus, it didn’t smell very good.
Next, I tried Neutrogena T/Gel Intensive Anti-Flake Treatment. It worked a little better, smelled a little better, and made my head tingley after the first couple uses. But, my itchy, flaky scalp still wasn’t cured.
Finally, I went to Wal-Mart and looked for the strongest thing they had. I picked up Neutrogena Maximum Strength T/Sal, read the box, and bought it.
The next morning, I lathered up my scalp with my new shampoo when I got in the shower. It does not have a smell, which is a plus. The directions say to leave on for several minutes, so I washed my body and then rinsed my hair.
After I blew dry my hair, I looked at my scalp. I noticed a difference after just one use. A lot of the flakes were gone. During the day, my scalp did not itch and the remaining flakes didn’t come off in my hair.
After a few days of using the T/Sal, almost all of the flakes were gone and my head continued to be itch-free.
I continue to use the T/Sal everyday and it works great.
