I recently went to purchase a property in Uttam Nagar. Agent took me to A-4, Gali No. 1, Vishwas Park, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi - 59, where 2nd floor’s roof was shown to me. I liked the plot. However, when I inquiried about it, I came to know that there was dispute between its 1st and 2nd floor occupants and the landlord. Legally its not possible to construct anything on the roof.
Agent as well as the landlord, Mr. Jeetendra were trying to cheat me. Everyone in the gali told me that there was some problem previously also, however, agents are still trying to sell the property.
Beware of this property. Many agents want to sell it for higher commission and want to dupe innocent customers.
