New Delhi is one of the metropolitan city of India and one of the most important(I don’t know whether it is important or not but now I am “feeling good” and that’s why I am using this term) city of the world. As it is the capital of this country and place of the V.V.I.Ps like all the M.Ps and so called top order leaders of India, it is one of the best city of India from all angle.
Delhi is one of my favorite travel zone. But not for traveling reason, actually I like to travel in Rajdhani express. I have gone Delhi at about 5-6 times.
I think the origin of the auto & taxi walas of Delhi are from the Chambal Valley. Whenever they realize that you are new in Delhi at that time they start to harass you. That would be an intelligent step if u use prepaid stand at the time of your arrival. Otherwise u’ll make a mess of your money.
::Places of Interest::
The Nehru Place IT market is the biggest IT market in the Asia. The shopping malls like Chandni Chowk, Palika Market, Cannaught Circus etc are very famous. Beside this there are so many places to travel like India Gate, Lotus Temple, Raj Ghat, Bijay Ghat, Trimurti Bhawan, Kali Bari, Lal Quilla(Agaar firdaus barrue jaminsta/haminstao, haminstao, haminstao---if there is heaven, it is here) Humayun Tomb, President house, South & North Gate, Qutub Minar, Jantar Mantar, in the both new &old Delhi. Old Delhi has occupied a very important place in the history of our country and now New Delhi has taken the authority from Old. But don’t forget to visit Nirula’s Restaurant in New Delhi.
::Geographical Value::
New Delhi has great geographical advantage. You may call it as the “Gateway of North & East India”. To travel Simla, Kulu, Manali, Chandigarh, Baishnu Devi or to go Rajasthan, Delhi is maintaining a very important role. If you want to travel in Bus at that places always travel in ISBT buses, private buses will make your life hell in this case.
Weather:-
The weather is not very pleasant during the summer. It is very much extreme characteristic. Try to come here during October to March.
No doubt New Delhi is a very interesting place to visit. And……………….. don’t forget to eat “Dilli ka Laddo”.
