Way before the multiplex culture set in Kolkata, New Empire used to be one of the prime locations of the big Hollywood releases in Kolkata. But of late it has deteriorated to the worst. Apart from the seating arrangement, no other feature of the plex is catchy now.
The projection is very dark and sound quality has worsened like hell. Sitting in the front rows u wouldn’t b able 2 hear properly, the AC’s don’t work properly an to compensate the authorities have placed pedestal fans here and there! Pity!
