I would certainly not hire this company again because their staff members give complete false information and are not worth trusting at all*
Hi, I had appointed New Gati Packers and mover in Oct 14 to get my goods transferred from Delhi to Punjab. The representative by the name of amandeep contacted and committed me few things that were completely false
1) he committed that the company has an office in Chandigarh and their people would come and unpack my goods, this was a complete lie, the company does not have any office in chandigarh and the people who came to unpack my goods were local labours hired by the truck driver and truck also did not belong to the comPany
2) I had insured my goods and paid them 6k in advance, their representative told me that insurance would be done by Reliance, and a soft copy would reach me before packing starts. but again this was a false promise, the insurance they sent me was of a FAKE company and later on after taking numerous follow ups they sent me New indian insurance that too after all my goods had left for the destination
3) They did not have enough packing material, the packing material ended even before all goods were packed and few items were sent without proper packing which resulted in damaged goods
4) Their rep told me that I will have pay 80% of total in advance and 20% at the destination. but I was surprised when they asked me for complete payment and told me that only 20% of transportation charges will be taken at the destination. this was again a big lie that they told.
