New Shanthi Sagar at Airport wears a trendy look with its blinking neon, but thats all about it. I went with my family in the late evening. The sofas were old, with oily head rests, fans were far above and few, making the place hot and uncomfortable.
We ordered standard south Indian dishes but even they were a disappointment, The idlis were half done, the dosas were over done, the chutney had gone rancid. We ordered a faluda and it was a disaster with fine sand particles in it.
The prices are on the high compared to other similar establishments, may be it is due to its prime location. The quantity and portions are just about ok. The quality, as mentioned needs lot of improvements.
The place tends to become crowded during rush hours and the service becomes slow. Thus if you still wish to visit during that time, try to have a table reserved esp in the the AC section upstairs.
