Lets go one by one ……I have been here from past 4 months being my clients location .The city is in Northen part of England having sea shore at whitley bay . You will find lots of Asians(Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and chinese)here so you are not going to suffer much problems about food items .
If you go to Heaton, Fenham Area you will get lots of shops where you can get Indian spices, roties, vegetables and lots of ….To reach to Heaton i.e.Chilingham Road take Bus no 62 or 63 from Citi Center
And to reach the Fenham take Nusy no 39 or 40 frm Citi Center .
As in my earlier days of stays the accommodation was provided by my company so cant much comment on Good Hotels to stay .
Lets move to food -take-aways as mentioned you will find good take-aways in heaton and fenham .
For shoping other than Indian needs you will find Morisons, Tesco, Sansburry for daily needs .
Morisons is in Byker and Tesco Extra is in Kingston Park its out side the city(to reach here X47 of stagecoach frm Citi Center)
This was all about food and its related shoping .
Lets move on to **accommodation** if you are planning to have rented house during your stay …….
Lots of letting agency are there but I would advise to first check out gumtree.com and then you can go for these agency .These agency will charge you if you are going to take house through them .They wont charge for showing houses so you can go for them some names in these are Pattinson, Bows Micheetle, Right Move, Grant Mgmt .
For shoping you can visit to Eldon Square which is in citi center and Metro Center which is in Gateshed to reach metro center take bus no 100 of stagecoach frm citi center . Lots of Pubs are here ………J
Overall good citi to stay ……
