I don’t believe that this movie has been nominated for Oscar. I mean nothing is special in this movie. Also its theme and meaning which it wanted to express remained unclear and hidden. Acting of Rajkumar Rao is ok. He looks so simple as usual. Story is all about conducting an election in a village where due to naxalis it failed every time. only 76 people live in that village. Rajkumar Rao goes there with his team and gets help of local people. They decide place for voting. They wait for a long time but when noone comes they go to the village and bring people forcefully. Villagers prepare chicken for policemen. Some of them do voting and some ask about their benefits if they do so. Just after having lunch there happens firing. Everyone runs bewilderly which creates a big ruckus. While going back through the jungle Rajkumar Rao understands the game plan and he opposes. He is brutally beaten. At last on gunpoint he becomes successful in conducting the elections. Scenes are nothing but jungle. Music is almost of no use. Ending is very bad.
