After using Airtel for 7 years, I got lured by its speed offer of 5MBS at 999 price. This was a big mistake. From the time, I have started using it, I have lost my peace of mind.
Some of the cons of this connection-
They have an exaggerated way of calculating your consumption. While you have consumed 5 GB their calculation starts showing that 15 GB is consumed.
Frequent breakdown in service - These guys think that no one should be using their service after midnight. At least once a week, their service is off after midnight.
No Toll free number - When their number is so erratic, you have to make calls to their customer care and spend long times and raise your telephone bill.
The service is full of ads and pop ups. These guys think that they own your desktop - advertising their promotions in pop ups.
Whenever you are browsing, the popups keep disturbing you. Feels like a big harassment.
