Nextra provides Fiber to Home connectivity with the Optical fiber being terminated into your home offering true Internet connectivity speeds from 10 mbps onwards. You get 10 mbps upload and 10 mbps download speed if you opt for 10 mbps speed.
I have opted for 10 mbps speed up to 20GB and post 20GB the speed reduces to 512 kbps i.e. I have opted for unlimited internet connection with 10 mbps speed up to 20GB download at cost of INR 1, 347 per month. I stay at Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, UP.
My Nextra connection gives admirable download and upload speeds when it works. The important point is when it works.
Yesterday, 2nd June 2015, my net connection stopped working with the Nextra router showing red light. I logged complain number 20142115008 after doing all r&d for 4 hours and noticing the Internet was still down. The ticket was logged at 11:15 pm with promise of someone from technical team getting back to me in 2 hours. I waited till 1:57 am without any call and then slept.
There was no call back or update till 12:15 pm of 3rd June i.e. 13 hours which is when I called back and was irate with the customer service who promised that his senior would call me back in 15 minutes.
As usual there was no response till 2:00 pm i.e. 1 hr 45 min for the senior to call or for the technical department to call back – of course the Internet is still down. I called back at 2 pm and was angry with customer support who made up a story of engineer trying to visit me. I just wanted to speak with her senior who was, again not available. I asked for reason for my internet connectivity being down. This was not informed. I asked for reason for no call back from senior, as promised at 12:15 pm. This was also not known to the lady. Finally I asked again to speak with her supervisor which was also not possible.
Nextra gives you headaches and heartaches when their network is not working – you don’t get any service and wait for a miracle to get the connectivity up and running. I would strongly advice you against buying Internet connection from Nextra unless you don’t have any other option.
Some of the recent complains of Internet not working:

4) 20142115005 on 20th January – took 30 min to resolve(on its own without any response, let alone resolution from Nextra.)
