Live Life King Size!

May be this space is for experiences of short travels to various destinations.

But I am to share my long term experience with u all, I came here as a S/W Consultant in one of the biggest Indian Company and now it is 4 years that I am here in Lagos, Nigeria.

It is a difficult place for new comers but once u settle in, u can live like a king here.

No jokes, one thing for sure king always needs security, so no wandering around too much at night, king does not walk on roads alone and so do Indians here.

One of best places to earn n save money, highly corrupted nation, but u are here to make money not for social work.

Lot of Indians approximately 30, 000 in Lagos itself, which is like Bombay for India.

Quite a few number of Indian Restaurants, new bollywood movies easily available on VHS, VCD and DVD. Worship places, temples, mosques, and, churches are abundant.

Locals are distributed in 2 classes - the filthy rich and the poor people, Indians fit in the Upper middle class here, get lot of respect from locals.

Job here can get u savings of minimum Rs. 30, 000, car, driver and house provided by the company.

Apapa, Victoria Island, Ilupeju, Ikoyi and Ikeja are good places for Indians to stay.

Apart from Indians many Lebanese citizens have captured the trading market.

If your fate is not with u, armed robbers or area boys can really bring hell on you.

Development lags in all sectors, no street lights, communication still very expensive, except oil almost everything else is imported.

All n All live merrily, safely and spent some years to make good savings for yourself.

Cheers,
