I am from Chennai. I tried to get my sister registered for Beginner’s at NIIT, Anna Nagar.
She went and met a Counsellor who very categorically said that unless and until they have a batch of minimum ten people, she cannot get registered. She was told that she will be contacted as soon as the required numbers are achieved but even after constant followups from our side, NIIT hasnt contacted us till date which is six months now.
This shows that they are not interested in getting any biz from the public. I was amazed at the attitude of the Counsellors there and had actually thought they were very professional in their approach but it doesnt seem so. It is still a shock to me that such a reputed institute turns away students from using their facilities. It was a pathetic attitude of the people working there and they dont seem to realise that it would lead to problems for the institute.
I dont think I will approach them again and neither will I recommend anyone to get registered there!!
