All the computer institutes are one and the same, I have had the experience of heading some like NIIT & SSI. Absolutely non professionals franchisees, have no knowledge of computers its as good as telling you that dal chawal bechne walla baniya bhi computer institute kholke bhit gaya since the franchisee development managers showed them the huge carrot at the end of the stick which obviously was not there. IT was a self created carrot which many of the intelligent franchisees were regretting but then it was too late. These franchisees wanted results from day one, put unreasonable pressure on the staff which resulted in many good staff leaving and thereby giving rise to the attrition rate and the students were also not given quality education, I personally know of an institute which had its courses re scheduled and re mapped for as long as one full year, imagine the plight of the student who had his career planned. I also know of computer institutes where qualified senior marketing personel went ahead to give a clean chit to a not so qualified franchisee. All this and more have been happening at computer institutes. They have been actually responsible for the job market slowdown which they definitely won agree to. The logic goes like this, the medi hypes a particular subject, the institutes tag along, they dont have qualified instructors they get a first batch done any how and the students then start teaching the subsequent batches and what is pushed into the industry is sub standard professionals, which is turn reduces productivity, A very infectious cycle.
