I am here to share one of the most traumatic experiences I have had in the whole of my life (that is fighting with NIIT for my refunds !)... this is during July 2004 to Jan 2005 and still on...
Here’s how it goes...
>> I went to NIIT Office on M.G. Road, Pune for their GNIIT Course. Was welcomed by very sweet-coated enticing front office who very politely explained to me how to go about the payments and course ie. GNIIT.
>> I took a test for aptitude to get a scholarship and in 5mins. after the test they offered me a 20% discount, I was elated then (no I feel I was cheated because how would the aptitude test of about 150 Q’s get checked in 5 mins.) This was the last time we ever talked about the scholarship.
>> I started my course and every alternate day for six months the classes scheduled 05:30pm to 07:30pm began at 05:50 at the earliest. Shocking you feel! read on...
>> The machines rarely connected to the server which had the programs on which we were supposed to practice. The students were not under control of the faculty.
>> Every month I paid my installment regularly else my admission was at stake... but at the end of 6 months when my faculty had not completed even 3 months syllabus I complained to the centre head who said very cooly that I could leave the course if I was not comfortable with it...
>> The choice was obvious but I had paid more than what I had learnt... so time for refunds... where I found dozen others facing a similar plight as mine and then I begged them for the refunds which I am still to recieve... There is only one person who is responsible for refunds in the whole centre, but he comes only on Mondays for 2 hours and is busy with some meeting the rest of the time as others tell me... his mobile number is also not available...
>> I’m stuck hope you do not get.
>> If you go and ask somebody at NIIT front office whether what I have said is possible then the counsellor at the office will easily fool you by confidently replying in the negative with a sweet smile and you may not believe me... but its for you to decide...
I lost time money energy so I care for yours...
