I joined NIIT in Mar 2003 for the course Diploma in information Technology (DIT). The course duration was 1 year, and it took around 2.5 years to complete this course. The faculty does not have any enough caliber to teach their students. The Counselling Co-coordinators do not have manners to talk with the students. they are good only when you come for enquiry after you join NIIT then they just care about your fees which should be paid in time otherwise they’ll keep digging until you pay your fees.
The Staff is non-co operative they don’t care about students. The Class rooms facilities are completely of C grade level. The PCs are not working properly. Most of the Pcs are down. The lectures are conducted only Twice a Week and one day is Practice session. The Faculties are not regular and they even don’t come on time. They don’t know how to annswer the student queries. In short "they just read NIIT modules and teachs us" . About Machine rooms whenever you go for practice, Machine rooms are always full, With very less number of PCs and most of the PCs are not in a working condition.
If you take your problems or queries to the Head of Staff then they just don’t care and will start insulting you that you do not have enough grasping power. The Subjects duration keeps on postponing beacuse of unavailability of staff. If it is over postponed then they will take one day whole lecture and just wipe off your remaining syallbus. About Exams its just keeps on postponing. The students performance keeps on declining in NIIT. About placements they don’t bother about informing you of any vacancies and if you go for enquiry in NIIT they will tell bluntly on your face that you do not have the required percentage so that we can sent you for the interview. Its not just story of mine its the story of each and every student of NIIT.
I will request you all PLEASE do not join NIIT.
