Being a runner, I wanted to get the much hyped Nike+ shoes and the sports band to get feedback on how fast I am running, how far, etc. However, after 2-3 months of trying, I have been completely dissatisfied with the product, the buying process and Nike in general. When I bought the sports band after searching all over the place, I came home, calibrated it, and when I started using it, it just went blank! The damn thing didn’t work! Dead on Arrival.


I thought OK, maybe my piece is bad, let me get a replacement. I called the outlet (the one in Phoenix Mills in Lower Parel, Mumbai), and the shop guys have been telling me for several weeks now that they don’t have anything in stock, but are expecting a shipment in the next couple of days. I demanded a refund, but they kept insisting that they would rather replace the product and they expected a shipment soon.  After so many weeks, I finally put my foot down and took it out on them. Now, they have promised to refund the money, but I still haven’t seen it!


What a bad experience buying a premium product! First of all, the product quality seems to be bad, and secondly, the customer service sucks. I don’t know how Nike is going to survive if they continue doing business like this...
