Hi, I got a nikon coolpix 3100. Its really amazing to have it. Its so compact that u can carry it in a small ladies purse. I wanted to purchase a digital camera at a lower price. I did not want to compromise on the quality. When I enquired, I came to know that : above 3 mega pixel is really good /more than enuf for home use. Features: 1. It has various modes to take snapshots 2. You can view the snaps and delete them if you find it not taken properly 3. The auto mode, adjusts light perfectly to get best picture quality 4. It is very stylish and compact 5. Usage is very easy for a new person like me 6. You can record 30 sec movies tooo.. 7. It has 3.2 megapixel ... which is tooo good at this price 8. It has digital zoom 9. Snaps can be loaded to the computer using the cables provided. (No scanning required) 10. You can watch your snaps in the TV (wow) I actually got it from US and the price came to 12000 Rs. Indian prices are a bit higher.. Baazee.com sellers quote for 16000 Rs. and Showrooms in Bangalore quote it for 25000 Rs. So try to get it from US. Additional Positive points: 1. Very stylish 2. Its a NIKON 3. Very very compact 4. Picture quality is very very good (trust me.. ive used it...) Negative points: 1. The pack comes with a 16Mb memory card which can store around 20 photos only (with high pixel level).. U will have to buy a 128 Mb memory card (around 2, 500 Rs) to store approx. 180 photos of 3 megapixel.
