I have a Nikon coolpix 4800 and its too good.
The reason for me to select this product that I beleive in Nikon’s own optical technology...its specialized in optical technology and excel in it....unlike other majors like Sony/Samsung which are consumer goods companies and do every consumer electronics item. I beleive for buying camera u have to go for a specialist company dealing with it.
I found Canon’s 5MP camera picture quality is execellent but I could not find a model with my configuration(4MP or 5MP with a good optical zooming)
This Nikon model has an extraordinary 8.3X optical zoom and its fantastic. In this range(4MP) there are very few cameras with this range of zooming and its the speciality of this model.
Picture quality is very good for 4MP and reflects the execellency of Nikon’s optics. The assist mode provided is sufficent enough covering almost all occasions. The flash is ultimate that a picture taken in utter dark looks like its taken in mid sun.
U can change the mode or switch off the flash if u want it as such in the picture.
The camera is stylish and sturdy. Battery is long lasting and rechargeable(lithium ion).
The price is bit costly when compared to other models but I would say its worth it.
Another way is buying it from US. I bought it from US, it costed me 16500 in indian Rs.
Overall I would recommend this product.
