The Nikon Coolpix 5200 is my first digital camera. Investing in a high-end point and shoot camera seemed like a ’’not-so-smart’’ decision in the beginning, considerign that it costs around Rs 22000/- in the grey market.
But having bought the camera seems worth it considering the sheer picture quality, and the rnage of options it offers that allows even the most average amatuer to take pro- quality pictures. Appearance: Deceptively small and light, (not much bigger than a credit card), the Nikon coolpix only appears fragile, (it survived an accidental 4 foot drop without the smallest scar) Options: The camera offers 15 scene modes and 4 scene assists that you could choose from depending on what kind of picture you want to take.
While it does mean a few seconds of fiddling before every shot, its very easy (intuitive) and the brilliance of the shot makes it worth it. The picture quality: Compared to the sony cybershot (which offers cheaper camers for the same functionality/Mega pixel), the clarity of this is outstanding. Overall a great buy.
