This one is special. Try searching for the Nikon 8800 in the electronics stores in Europe (Saturn, Media Markt... or the US Best Buy, Circuit City ....), the store sales will guide you to the Nikon 8400. This is an indication of the popularity and the short supply of the Nikon 8800.
Nikon maintains its supremacy in the high end consumer photo euipment.
The Camera feels great in your hand. Its got the right grip and the black color looks great.
