Worth the price

The Nikon 950 is very light weight and has a very easy to use menu. However comparing it with the cameras of today it is a little backward. The Nikon Coolpix 3100 is a sub-compact mid-range model with 1.5-inch TFT color monitor with a precision 3x Optical-Zoom Nikkor (38-115mm in 35mm format equivalent) lens and 3.2-megapixel resolution.

Nikon’s advanced 256-segment Matrix exposure metering ensures images of remarkable color, contrast and clarity. Shooting is simplified by the AUTO mode and supplemented by 10 different Scene modes, 6 Portrait modes, 5 Landscape modes, 3 Sports modes and 6 Night Portrait modes.

The Coolpix is Exif 2.2 and Epson PRINT Image Matching compatible. But overall the results are superb. The focusing is awesome. I had given the memory card to a mazda for printing and the image quality was similar to a slr. The Automatic shutter speeds from 1/3000 sec. to 4 sec’s and built-in flash has auto, fill, and red-eye reduction modes. The camera is powered by two AA type or one CRV3 battery. I got detailed specs at https://slrworld.com
