I am not a professional photographer. I bought this camera for mostly inhouse photography. I had Sony T20 and its an upgrade to that camera. On the first look, this camera fits perfectly into my palms, easy to carry and gives feeling of holding a good quality camera. Anti-slip rubber on the edge protects it from slipping. The body is made of plastic but it doesn’t look like cheap camera.
As I have recently purchased it so I am still to go through all the options. Initial images looks good and video looks amazing. 15x optical zoom, 12.1Mgeapixel with options like panorma view are just amazing. though it lacks manual control; who cares as long as you are going to use it as point and shoot camera. Don’t compare it with SLRs. As per my research, this camera stands out in its price catagory. I also got nice freebies with it like tripod, case, lense cleaner kit, 4GB memory card, original sony scratch guard under 15k.I will update more on this as I explore more options about this new gadget.

After two days of playing with this gadget, I have made some discoveries.
The position of right hand grip and AF sensor is bit awkward. your finger tend to come in view of AF red light which hinders the process of auto focus. Be careful while shooting.
easy auto mode and auto mode is not always the best of shooting mode. Try given preselect modes.
Not enough manual control, camera do it all for you. But if you are the guy who wants to know and control whats going inside the camera, you will end up getting frustrated as it does not allow you.
Conclusion: Excellent point and shoot camera with excellent mega zoom. Ideal for home users. Big no for some one who is looking for SLR clone.
