I useing nikon before two year. 20.2 megapixel photo with 26 x optical zoom. Take a glance at the coolpix and u be forgiven for thinking it’s bridge camara. The nikon coolpix controls are well positioned and easy to use. In a good light the autofocus system locks on to a subject almost ibstantly but it slows consideably in darker condition. At least the exposure metering is more dependable generally striking a good balance between preserving highlight and shadow.
