I recently bought a Nikon S220, and was hopelessly disappointed by the image quality. Out of over 100 images, I have liked only about 5 pics till now. All images are still images and taken by keeping the camera on the tripod(btw, it came free with a tripod and pouch).
Motion pictures are really poor. If the subject of your photo moves a bit, you’ll get blurry image; no matter what your camera mode setting is.
I contacted the Nikon service center and sent them samples of images; they told me that they’re excellent images. I wonder what they were thinking or drinking when look at those blurry images.
