There are some Pros and Cons with this camera
Pros
-. Easy to operate
- A good number of still image features for a budget camera
- Good resolution for still images and some nice settings to play with
- Compact and convenient to carry
- Up to 32GB SD card
- Video image stabilization is reasonable
- 7x optical zoom
Cons
- Panorama mode is basically worthless. I got better panoramas off my Samsung phone
- Video quality is poor in anything but daylight, and does not record in full HD, and video options are very limited
- On camera light for video tends to blind subjects
- Proprietary USB port on the camera means you have to use the Nikon cable
- Low light photographs are poor quality, even at higher ISO settings
- No optical zoom on video mode
- Often lag a lot while processing captured images
and remain irresponsive sometime for more then 1 minute
Conclusion
For a day out or vacation where you’ll be doing mostly still shots, it’s not a bad camera for the price. If you plan to do a lot of low light photography, panorama or video, you should look elsewhere
