Nikon D3100, not for professionals.

So I borrowed this 2 month old DSLR camera from my cousin and to be frank I didn’t really liked the camera. It had a kit lens of 18-55mm and the combination of both makes the camera worse. It’s because you cannot shoot at low light. Using ISO more than 400 makes the picture too noisy. The pictures lacks sharpness and detail.

There is very less features in guide mode. So if one doesnot know how to use a DSLR camera, then the only best option this camera provides is the automatic mode. Other guides like(capture reds in sunset, take bright photos, take dark photos, reduce blur, bring more into focus modes etc) is not available in this camera.  Since there is no much function in this camera so it is easy to use.

Another drawback this camera has is that automatic focus doesnot work properly in low light and that makes it difficult to focus and capture at right time. No matter how much you try to focus a subject, you will never get satisfied if you look the picture closely as it lacks focus every time. And the inbuilt display doesnot support High Defination, so it becomes really difficult to capture a sharp crystal picture. Besides, the display has a megnata colour tone on every image. But when you transfer the same picture to another device(laptop, mobile etc) the tone dissapears.

The shutter speed is the same as other DSLR cameras, however, You will get better image when clicked between 1/100 - 1/250 with ISO not more than 200.

Battery is quite OK as you can click 1000-1500 pictures when fully charged. Using display too much reduces the battery life quickly and also the battery becomes hot if used for more than half an hour continuously.
