I'm very disappointed.

I am in photography for last more than 50 years and I have always been a Nikon user. My first Nikon digital camera was D60 which gave me excellent images as regards colours, saturation and ease of use also. However, since it was only 10.2 MP camera, I got tempted to go in for D3200 which has 24 MP. And believe me that was the blunder of my life time. Except for the large file size it provides, D3200 is a third rate camera compared to D60.

First of all, even at ISO 200 D3200 gives noise where as D60 gave me noise free images even at ISO 400. This resulted in losing my clients who stopped going in for my images shot on this camera. The camera LCD in D3200 is absolutely misleading and puts you off the mark if you shoot subsequently after checking the earlier image on LCD as everybody using a DSLR does. There is wide difference between what you see on the LCD and what image you actually get. In D60 if you kept white balance on shade or cloudy, you actually got beautifully warm images. This proved useful for sunset images also but D3200 images with white balance on shade or cloudy, the images tend to get a predominent yellow cast. May be Nikon thinks they look warm but actually they look dirty. When introducing newer models, manufacturers are expected to improve their cameras but here D3200 camera is worst than the earlier Nikon DSLRs. Don’t buy this camera even at half price. You will be wasting your money. I am deeply regretting I got rid of my D60 and went in for this junk.
