This is my first DSLR camera and I am using the same till now. You may say I don’t have enough money for a new one. But apart from this, from my own experience by using this DSLR camera I would suggest this to the new learners who wants to learn about the basics. But I won’t recommend it to a professional photographer.
PROS-
Easy to handle
Shutter speed up to 1/4000
24 Mega pixel
Battery life is Upto the mark. Lasts upto 1500 clicks if the display is not much used.
CONS-
Image quality is not upto the mark in the sence when you zoom the picture it becomes blurry
When you shoot in raw the color of the image is darker compared to when you shoot in JPEG
Picture quality appears a lot better when shoot in guide mode. when you shoot in same settings in manual mode the image looks different
The combination of the camera with the kit lens is not at all good.
Not at all recommended for shooting in low light even with a prime lens.
The speakers are not clear.
Though it has many defects in it but still I would recommend it to the beginners because it provides scope to learn the basic functions about how a DSLR is to be handled. This model is not so costly, so if anyone wants to do photography start with this one.
