It’s one of its kind. A classic example how to desist the High Networth Customer from buying Quality product. I called up Nikon Toll free to give me a dealer who could sell me Nikon D3200 Caera at Thane. Promptly, they provided me the number and name of Himalaya CellulAr, apparently their Distributor. To my horror and chagrin, this lady who answered the call started rudely asking if I own a shop or a store??????injustbtold her Nikon India has provided me the number, but she was so adamant and rude, she refused to even acknowledge that she has the product or no.
Probably this is the type of people Nikon is associated with. Who would want to buy such a product, where one is facing such attitude before buying. God have mercy if you need post sales service....they would make you dance from pillar to post. Requesting the Ministry of Commerce to ban such products in India, who have such a callous attitude towards it’s customers! I urge this forum to take heed of this Brand and make a conscious effort to stay away fro Nikon.
We have plenty high end DSLR brands that offer similar capabilities in their products, or even more.
