I am not a professional photographer, but I do have some experience with SLR cameras. I decided on the Nikon D3300 and I am delighted with this purchase.
The camera has a large number of settings / modes that can be used in very different variations and the quality of the photographs is spectacular. Auto-focus is easy to use for most photos. The manual focus is also easy to handle and learn to use if you are interested.
The screen could be rotating, but not the most important.
The design of the camera is very comfortable and not bulky or annoying to carry. Best of all, the price is right for the quality of the photos you are going to be able to take.
