My experience with nikon d40 camera at this rate is worst for its performance degraded with time, and hence I couldn’t feel it worth the price I paid.
Friends I bought this product from Nikon Store in Delhi around Rupees 33000, with no discount whatsoever and at first look this product seems to be excellent but when I brought it in use, the picture quality and the battery backup started deteriorating, let me break up the entire review in 5 parameters:
a) Picture Quality: Initially it was good, but 4 months later I started observing spots in the lens, which on communication with customer care was told be due to water contact, which was not the real case however.
b) User Friendly: Not at all, its not that mobile to carry anywhere and operate anywhere, a minute issue with the setup spoils the entire quality of clicks.
c) value for money: I am personally not satisfied, as I felt the product charged more than it ought to be, also with teh issues cropping up just within months, I don’t consider it as useful.
d)Shutter Speed: Its the only feature, that you can boast upon, except the others mentioned above.
e)Battery life: very poor, it drain off quickly, specially when I am mobile with the camera.
