The line "Old is Gold" is the perfect definition for this DSLR.
Everything in this DSLR was just [erfect according to that time and may leave many Today’s DSLR in terms of Picture Quality.
The D40 was as easy as a point and shoot came(if you are in AUTO mode) but you get perfect result from it.
It was perfect value for money DSLR I still try to find a new one but it is very difficult to find one.
The shutter speeds and other setting was just perfect.
The battery life was all day long even if you click photos continuosly and current I have Nikon D5300 but its battery life is much lesser even tough its much more costlier.
