I am Photographer and I was looking for best camera for beginners,
At its price mark nikon d5500 is best especially for its low light performance and compact size.
For landscapes nothing could be better than this camera at this price as far as portraits are concerned it is ok, but still it is the best entry level dlsr camera available in the market. I would recommend it for travel photography but it can perform well for every kind of photography.
