Nikon D80 is a quite good one DSLR to be purchased for the animals photography. I have purchased Nikon d80 DSLR 2 year before and it is working perfectly and gives the sharp quality of pics and there is no blur in the quality of pictures if it is taken in the sunlight but if you are taking picture in the indoor then they maybe some problems like the picture quality is not and that much sharp as well as the pixel may get differentiate when will zoom.
Nikon d80 is quite good for those who are not really professional but like to take more pictures of photographs of nature as well as animals on their own choice if you are looking for a better and decent DSLR can you should go for Nikon d80.
