I have used many Nikon Dslr’s. But the most worst was these Nikon D40 in my opinion. They are several issue with this camera such as lowlight issue which is a disappointing thing in my opinion. Because the earlier Nikon camera’s where good in low lighting condition but these one struggles a lot in my opinion.
The picture quality is a good in natural lightning conditions. But in low lightning it struggles a lot. But this camera is very user friendly in my opinion. The shutter speed is also a issue on this camera , it is not very fast as it was used it other Nikon cameras.
The battery life is decent but not excellent in my opinion. So I will not recommend you to buy this camera at such a high price.
