I own this beauty since Nov 2010, and it is the best beginner level DSLR I have used so far. I have already clicked more than 18k pics with this camera, and it supports light weight to big bulk lenses like kit lens and 105 mm macro lens respectively.
I suggest nikon DSLRs over canon because I feel nikon DSLRs are more user friendly than canon ones though canon is the world market leader in DSLRs. The most used setting in my camera is the’Manual’ mode and I have never regretted to learn new things in manual rather than in other auto modes. Meanwhile Closeup mode helps to click macro shots very easily too.
I suggest if you are buying a DSLR try this one before looking for other cameras, and most important factor for all cameras is’Please click as much as many clicks’ with the DSLR to understand your camera rather than reading reviews and guides.
