I bought my Nikon F80 along with a 28-80 lens for Rs. 22, 000- (in the grey market where most cameras get bought in India) sometime in September last year. Been using a Ricoh and Nikon FM10 before, which I promptly sold off. I used the camera along with an additional 80-300 Nikkor Auto lens to photograph scenery, forts, people and architecture during my trekking expeditions both in the Sahyadris and the Himalayas. The camera is not only superb but the color rendition is perfect too. To say in very few words PICTURE PERFECT. Had the unique opportunity of covering my friends wedding too......the pictures just came damn well. Of course, as they say, it is not the camera but the man behind it that counts, but of course the equipment too needs to be trustworthy and good. Would love to recommend it to others though F65 would hv nearly all the same features and cost a bit less too...
