I stay at Bangalore but am from Mumbai so sorely miss typical mumbai’s street foods- one of favourite being a tangy and tasty’Dabeli’ - a spicy potato mix in a pav laced with garlic, tamarind, date chutney along with finley chopped.
Well, the other day, while shopping at Nilgiris at ITPL road next to CMRIT, I found to my pleasant surprise this item being sold at this outlet. I tried and found it to be really good -matching upto almost 95 percent- the remaining 5 percent loss I would attribute to the type of Pav-but frankly one does not easily get Bombay style Pav so I suppose it does not seem to be the fault of the Dabeli supplier.
DO try out -but only hitch is that it gets over soon so reach before 2pm so that you can take your pick!
