Nilgiris Super Market has started in - NS Palaya, BTM 2nd stage, Bangalore - an year ago. They started off well with a very few vegetables and products. Nevertheless, the air conditioning and the package done to various products attracted many of the customers. Off late, they have become literally cheaters
1) by selling expired products
2) by selling ordinary mangos as alphonso mangos and charging customer generously
3) by ignoring customers requests of getting some new products in store
This store is indeed started by a franchise. It does not have any similarities to the original Nilgiris Super Market. The board of Niligiris should take action against this new franchise for not meeting customers requests and for selling cheap products for high rates. The most recent incident is selling some ordinary chittoor mango as an alphonso mango, and charged 165 rupees per kilo.
