I want to let you all know about a bad experience that I had in Nippon Toyota service center in valakom Muvattupuzha.
This incident happened on 08/05/19. I took my Innova crysta to Nippon Toyota for the routine one and half year service. After the service they returned my car and no one said anything about any issue .I left the property and drove a block away to my home. (Just a five minutes from the showroom.) I parked my car in my car porch and didn’t take the car for the next 2 days. When I took the car 2 days later i discovered a big dent and scratch in front of the bumper in the passenger side.I immediately drove back to the dealership to let them know that my car had been damaged. I talked with sales person (who sold me the car) and advisor. They send me to manager. He told me that the incident didn’t happen there and they are not responsible because I had already left their premises. I asked them to have their cctv cameras checked and they said their cameras are not clear and few of the cameras aren’t working..!!! & they can’t do anything for this issue!!!
The advisor and me inspected my car when I came to the showroom before service and there was no such damage prior to service.
I have cameras in my home and in my camera the damage is clearly visible as I enter my gate right after the service.It only takes less than 5 minutes to reach my home from the service center.
I had multiple conversations with their people and they offered me that they will fix the damage and I have to bear 50% of the costs and later they said I have to bear 25% of the costs.. I am not taking their offers .... because I am not the one to pay for it as it happened from their side.
My issue is that it happened at their premises and they are not willing to take up the responsibility and solve the issue.. instead they are saying these ridiculous reasons like the cameras are not clear .. some cameras are not working.. How can a big showroom like Nippon have defective cameras and no one bothers to get it fixed.????? I am not that stupid to go to the showroom and talk to them about the issue if I’m not 100% sure that it happened there..!!!!
I am just posting this out there so no one else should have such a horrible experience..
