I purchased Nissan Micra petrol car from Chandrani Nissan, Kolkata and it is under Warranty. I have sent my above car for repairing to your workshop on 22nd October. I was informed by Chandrani’s representative Mr Shubhro that as clutch plate is not available in stock and it will come from Chennai by road therefore only by 31st October my car will be repaired.
I have sent mail to CRM service on 23rd but he is not interested to reply me by mail. On 24th Oct I have been informed over phone by their CRM service Mr. Indrajit that they have requested their Chennai branch to see whether part is available or not and it will take 4-5 day to check availability of part and car can not be repaired & delivered before Diwali. It will take at-least 15 days for such minor repairs.
These types of minor repair never took more than one day when I last owned Hyundai Santro for 10 years. I am unable to understand why such common parts are not available at each and every service station? Why Chennai office cannot check and send parts by air in case of urgency?
Who will bear expenses of car hire charges which I will be incurring for 10 -15 days because I will have to hire another car, only for gross negligence by Nissan dealer’s non availability of part? Why these inefficient people are allowed to sale cars in India? As Diwali is approaching I want my car be repaired as early as possible.
