I bought my black 2004 Sentra in November 2003. I used to have a 1987 Sentra that I finally had to sell, and let me tell you, the 2004 is wonderful!! This is my first brand new car. We bought it off of the lot with zero miles on it. The dealer kept us there for about four hours, trying to mess with us, but luckily the deal worked out and I was able to drive it home that night. I love the size of it.
There is plenty of room for children or adults in the back seat, carseat clips, vanity mirrors, useful compartments, nice waterproof interior, and it has a great stock sound system. The only thing that is weird is that they installed a device to open the trunk from your remote entry pad, or from inside of the car, but the lever inside the trunk always gets pushed down so you have to unlock the trunk with your key.
The gas mileage is awesome, I can get about 350 freeway miles to a full tank, which is helpful since I am constantly traveling. If youre young and want something sporty and inexpensive, you should seriously consider the 2004+ Sentra.
